About the game
A remake of the DOS classic Armada 2525.
If you played 4X games on DOS, you might remember Armada 2525: a grid of sectors, rival empires and a lot of fleet management. QuadrupleX is a modern remake you can play in your browser, even on your phone.
The galaxy is a full 3D map under fog of war. Scout it, colonize planets, queue up structures and set each world to focus on industry, research or credits. Build fleets within your supply limit, mind the upkeep, and try not to go into debt.
Five rival AI empires share the galaxy, each with its own personality: Aggressive, Cautious, Expansionist, Technologist, Industrialist or Balanced. When fleets meet, you watch the battle replay round by round as they trade fire.
